Venture Funding Helps Recruitment Specialist Expand

IT recruitment agency Venturi Ltd has secured £300k of Venture funding to enable both an office move and future growth. The funding, which incorporated Factoring and Bad Debt Protection, has allowed Venturi to grow rapidly into its second year of trading. The recruiter has now moved to its own premises in Wilmslow and increased its staff by over 60%.

“Invoice finance is a vital part of running our business,” says Venturi Managing Director Brad Lamb. “But our previous lender wasn’t giving us the best service and financial support.” He added, “The funding has had an extremely positive influence on our business, helping us to keep clients happy with more flexible, regular payments. It has also helped us double our turnover to over £3m, putting us in a great position for future recruitment and growth.”

Venture Business Development Manager Nick Russell was pleased at the speed with which Venture was able to help Venturi. “Venture was able to get the ball rolling quickly by helping Venturi to pay its previous provider’s exit fees,” he says. “We can now give the company rapid access to working capital, allowing them to seize any growth opportunities that came along.”
